When is at&t going to fix Uverse so that all of their customers can have a reliable connection like cable ?

AT%26amp;T said that I could get uverse so we had them install it and it was constantly loosing its connection and channels would all of a sudden just pause and stop working for about 3 - 5 minutes and then come back for about an hour or less and do the same thing over and over.|||good thing i noticed this question. hi my name is lee and i worked as a technical support agent at att. ok here is 2 things you can try. 1. power cycle the reciever - you do this by holding the power button in for 2 seconds. 2. power cycle the rg - the rg (residential gateway) is a square box somewhere in your house and it says 2wire on it. what you wanna do is make sure all of the lights are green, if even one of them is red then call customer support. if they are green then unplug the cord going to the back of the rg for 10 seconds (this will disrupt your tv if you are watching it and your internet and phone if the rg is hooked up to them). slowly the lights should all go green again and if one turns red you should immediately call att. if this does not work then hard reboot the reciever by pulling the cord out of the wall for 15 seconds. if all of these things do not work then call att and they will make you go through these steps again (dont get mad they are required to) after they are done then what i would do is demand that they dispatch a technician because they cannot hang up without resolving the issue, trust me. your issue is definately not normal though. see if anyone you know who lives close to you has the same problem. if they dont then you need to follow these steps. if they do then you still need to call att because one of the wires or that provides your neighborhood with service might be cut or corroded. please feel free to contact me if you have any questions my name is lee. i hope this helped.|||i think never att is one of the worst ones and more expensive companies.
