Your remote should've came with a booklet and it'll give instructions. Its sounds like you don't have your booklet. If you google your remote brand and model number you should be able to download the manual for free. Remotes and TVS have so many different codes that it would be impossible to tell you how to do it, especially without even knowing your brands of devises|||To program your remote you can get the manual online at

In there you can go to to section B and it will tell you how to program your remote automatically.
It also has the codes to put in manually if you have problems with the automatic search.
