i am looking to get uverse installed. i have 4 tv's but only really use 2. one is a guest room and i dont want to pay for a box that will be used about 2 weeks out of the year. the other is my kids room and she doesnt need anything ut local channels. i have comcast and can get local channels on all tvs without a box.|||U-verse is an IP system rather than conventional cable. It's not possible to receive anything at all without a U-verse receiver.
If you have decent over-the-air reception at your location, consider an antenna for for the TVs that are not used very much. You can get your local broadcast stations in HD for free, depending on your location and your antenna choice.
