What channel does the TV have to be on for Uverse to work?|||You don't use your tuner to select a channel. Your U-Verse receiver is most likely connected to an HDMI input port on the back of your TV. It could also be on another type of input. You need to select the correct input with your TV's remote, i.e. "HDMI-1" or whatever.





Once you've done that, leave that setting on your TV and change channels on the U-Verse receiver with the AT%26amp;T remote.
