Can i hook up my dvd to at&t uverse receiver from my analog tv?

I recently was hooked up to AT%26amp;T Uverse TV. I am trying to use my dvd player since they installed the Uverse TV. I can get the sound from my dvd player when I play it, but not picture. I have an analog TV.|||It's hard to know from here if it's a cable or cable connection problem, but if you have the three RCA connections on the TV, you may want to go in there instead of the other unit.|||the dvd player is not going to be able to go through the AT%26amp;T U-Verse reciever cause the boxes only have one input jack and that is the one for the cable feeding the signal to it.
